YOUR WEEKLY PROFIT TIP

A Gift...

This week is basically your last chance. I'd like to recap a bit, and then offer you a pre-holiday gift, that will bring home $$$ within 37 days if you just take action on it.

If you've got a marketing campaign going, GREAT, keep it up! If not (or even if so), try this as well.

Next Friday, the 28th is the day after Thanksgiving ...a "big" shopping day. From there on out to Christmas Eve is your chance to bring your year up to where you want it to be.

Don't be shy selling GC's (gift certificates). Make up a PACKAGE (especially online) with a wonderful name and offer it to ALL your clients. Just say "do you need a GC for your sweetie?" ...if you don't ask, they won't buy.

When you offer this package, SHUT UP AND WAIT for an answer. Mary Kay says "Whoever talks first, loses." Why blurt out something cheaper? Wait until they've said "no thank you, that's too much" to offer something less.

Do NOT hand people a menu. They don't know what to look for so will look for what's cheapest. Instead, say "she'll LOVE this package, it's my personal favorite" or "everyone is getting one for about $160 so your sweetie can get a massage AND a facial."

Don't sell single services, sell dollar amounts. This not only allows you to increase prices (which you may or may not be doing wihtin a year) but REALLY allows you to upsell the client into more or larger services.

Pull up a list of your GC purchasers last year and mail them something. Then do so again in early December and again at the last minute (telling them they can shop online).

Get ahold of your VIP clients and tell them to see you when they come in again. Then have something special to hand them.

And make sure you're front desk and staff are all on board with you, trained and ready to go. What's worse than getting people in who want to buy and then seeing them leave empty handed or with a poor experience.

************

AND FINALLY, I'd like to offer all of you a free mini-consultation with me. Got a question? Just call me on my cell and we'll chat for a bit. 719-439-0697

Follow this advice (and that on our site) and you WILL see some extra holiday cash this season. Put it to good use and enjoy it, you deserve it.
